Yesterday was a perfect autumn day. Clear blue skies, a nip in the air, gentle sunshine. I took the autumnal feeling as an excuse to dress down a bit, go for something chilled and cozy to wear to the cinema to see Wuthering Heights, to stroll up to uni for an afternoon coffee and then for overdosing on sushi at dinnertime. Wuthering Heights was really, really great: a very beautiful, sensual film with stunning production design and cinematography. The only thing I’ll say is that it has one of the worst final scenes I’ve ever seen. I’d be surprised if that wasn’t a common feeling? I dunno.
