We’re a week into 2013 and I thought it was time to look back on my 10 favourite outfits of 2012. It was weirdly moving to scroll back through all my blog posts of last year as it made me really aware of a) all the stuff I did and b) how much my look changed.
So here we are, in chronological order, what I consider to be my outfit highlights of 2012…
I think we can safely say 2012 was the year of the trouser. By the end of the year I’d cut my hair off, got my septum pierced, stopped putting makeup on my eyebrows and stopped shaving. I guess I progressively moved away from traditional ‘femininity’, which was a thing I’d really held on to before 2012. I think I became more comfortable with my self-expression than I’d ever been.
