Hello friends! A couple of weekends ago it was the July instalment of the club night I co-run, Dancing On My Own. It gets pretty hot and sweaty wherever we hold it, and people are very prone to stripping off. For the first time, I took this into account when planning my outfit, and incorporated some good underwear into my look. I spent half the evening in my bra and knickers, so it was clearly a good move. It was the first time I’d taken my Gok Wan for Simply Be set out for a spin, and my god was it popular. I absolutely got more compliments on my underwear than I did on my t-shirt and pinafore dress combo that I was wearing over it. It was such a comfortable set to wear, even with the straps removed from the bra (which is a multiway bra, so lots of options there!). I just love this set, and I love it so much, in fact, I even hunted down last season’s high-wasited control knickers in the sale so I could have more in different prints! I don’t generally wear control underwear, but these knickers are so nice to wear, and I love that instead of just making them in flesh tones, Gok/Simply Be have branched out into adorable prints like polka dot and dogtooth which makes them worth baring in public!
Feeling good in this underwear made me feel kickass and confident to keep going throughout the night, playing tunes and dancing with my pals and feeling 100% great from 9 ’til 3. A genuine, heartfelt thumbs up for this bra and knickers!
