I walked into TK Maxx several weeks ago and a bright something caught my eye. It was displayed in the main range section rather than plus, but I thought I’d check it out anyway. And, what do you know, it was a beautiful printed Boden summer dress in soft lovely cotton. And it was reduced from £99 to £29. And it was in my size. Fate, fate, I tell thee! I hadn’t worn it til this weekend, and thought George‘s hen do was the perfect opportunity to take it out into the wide world. I got so many compliments on it and felt very unlike my usual self, but very delightful.

Lipstick is the wonderful Sephora liquid matte lipstick in Electra, which my much-adored pal Jenny has and every time I saw it on her I would get so covetous, so decided to pick one up for myself when I was in New York!
