a sunshine story.

Before we begin, if you want to read more of my words elsewhere, I wrote about the present state of fatshion in the Telegraph Magazine on Saturday.

This Monki dress is the gift that keeps on giving. I just can’t believe how much I love it, really. I wore it for the last day of my internship on Friday and to see Spring Breakers and eat a hotdog with my beau on Friday night, then again on Saturday for afternoon tea with a pal. It’s probably the most useful dress I’ve ever owned, because it always looks just right.

I’m also wearing my amazing new tights. My crusade against rubbish tights is a recurring theme on my blog and my Twitter, but it’s just the way it is. Most tights suck for a tall, hourglass-shaped fat person. I came into a little money last week so I decided it was the right time to try out the (expensive) tights that a few people had very passionately recommended. These are Tabio’s 110 denier tights in Charcoal Grey and they are just wonderful. Very opaque all over (even on my fat thighs), a lovely colour, they didn’t fall down at all, felt super strong. I’m in love. Now I just need to win the lottery, cos buying them in every colour would cost £400…
