So London was today a spectacular hotbed of hideous weather, which means I had to break out my winter boots… in June. After stunning weather in Berlin just a week ago, it was slightly galling to feel my hair go limp with the familiar London drizzle and damp, and arrive at the office looking less than composed after wading through puddles in the aforementioned boots.
This dress is an old favourite, bought during my ‘thin year’ (2007) when I’d lost a lot of weight (which I’ve since put back on). Most stuff I wore that year no longer fits (shrug) but this has, miraculously, remained faithful to me and constitutes a wardrobe staple year after year.
The weather was much too bad to take an outdoors outfit photo, so here’s one on my landing, which seems to be the only remotely suitable place in my whole house to take pictures in. Even so, it ain’t great!
