So here’s how it goes: I wake up, I get dressed, I do my makeup, I feed the kittens, I run outside into the front garden with my camera and take a photo of my outfit, I have breakfast, I brush my teeth, I go to work.
There is a flaw in this plan, friends: I am a mess. As a child, the act of eating a Magnum was tantamount to dropping a chocolatey nuclear bomb on my own face. If there’s a feasible way for me to get crushed bits of powder blusher ingrained in my jeans, then I will do it. So maybe I should eat breakfast in my pyjamas in the interest of not ending up with cornflakes on my dress. And on Monday, my first day of my much-feared internship at a big-deal ladies’ fashion magazine, after having lay awake at night worrying about it, having settled on an outfit… I got butter on my skirt. I shouted a series of expletives, shoved the offending article in the washing machine, ran upstairs and changed into my leopard-print t-shirt and skinny jeans. Fortunately, the greasy skirt survived, and I’m wearing this outfit today instead.
Vest: Primark
Skirt: Primark
Sandals: New Look
I love it! You are giving me confidence to bear my arms in a vest, something which I have NEVER done. xx
That Primark skirt is awesome! I love anything chiffon lately.
