So it’s official. I’m mostly done with dresses and skirts for daywear. I used to wear a dress or skirt every day but now I’d say 5 days out of 7 I wear trousers. Printed trousers are the perfect way to wear my beloved prints without feeling like I’m presenting something overtly ‘girly’ (I realised recently that I’m not so interested in being pretty anymore, and just want to be me. Deep shit). Anyway. These trousers, which I got for £10 in the Evans sale in Bromley, are the perfect solution.
This outfit is from yesterday, when I wore it to see Antonioni’s Red Desert at the BFI, but I’m wearing them again today with my Hug a Homosexual t-shirt that will one day make an appearance here!
