Yesterday I turned 23. I had a super nice day, with presents I really loved and spending time with folk I like. One of my presents was this amazingly coloured ASOS Curve dress. I’m such a sucker for green, especially this kind of green. It’s a little bit big but I think it adds to the overall effect of ugly/cute. I wore it for my birthday soirée date with my beau (who gave me the most brilliant present which will feature on here sometime in the very near future!), which involved a very strong cocktail, then a pavement table at Maison Bertaux (I count pavement-sitting outside Maison B among my most avidly pursued hobbies) before lobster rolls and chips at Burger & Lobster and on to Gelupo for the best ice cream in London. It was great. While I was sitting outside Maison Bertaux, a man selling the Big Issue looked me over and said ‘I’m trying to work out your style… I think you have a style of your own’, which was a joyous compliment. Happy birthday to me.
Also planning on wearing green (my beautiful Cos dress that I’ve never posted here) for my birthday drinks tonight, and hopefully I’ll get some pictures before the evening descends into mess.
Oh! And I got a haircut the day before! I am so in love with it. The end.
