but i haven’t got a stitch to wear.

After all this time, I still have a soft spot for Morrissey. I know he’s a shit, don’t worry. It’s just that the Smiths and his solo stuff has been very important to me for a long time now, and I’ve never stopped loving the music. My pal Harry, who I alternately refer to as the love of my life, the apple of my eye etc, hates Morrissey with a burning passion, but I suppose love really does conquer all. When I tweeted about desperately wanting a Morrissey Christmas jumper, who stepped up and ordered me one? None other than the great Morrissey-hating Harry. True love.

I think this is the first time I’ve done an outfit post without makeup, actually. I wore this yesterday, the day after the club night I co-run, to go for our ritual post-Dancing On My Own lunch at Dragon Castle on Walworth Road, and let me tell you I was not feeling like getting dolled up. It felt like a perfect opportunity for the Moz sweater to make its first outing…
