As a contrast to my last post, here are some more sober tones… Navabi kindly offered to send me something and I had a poke around what was on offer and decided on this coat. I met my pal Sian for lunch and she was extremely taken with it, especially when it’s zipped up and my collar’s sticking out over the top. The shape and style and material are great. I adorethe asymmetric zip which stops it from feeling to traditional to me. It’s a really good weight for spring, as it provides some protection from breezes but doesn’t make me feel gross and warm. My only criticism (and this is the same criticism I have of other coats and jackets without collars, eg my ASOS Curve leather biker) is that when I wear it open, I want to be able to stop the collar from flopping inwards. Retailers! Pls include some subtle buttons so I can facilitate this dream!
