best of both worlds.

Maybe it’s the great weather we’re having but I’m in such a great mood at the moment and feeling extraordinarily happy with the way I look. I really love today’s outfit, not least because it seems like the perfect middle of the masculine/feminine line that I’m generally walking. Long-sleeve shirts with buttons are, let’s face it, my thing, and the more of them I have the better. I can wear them with all varieties of jean, skirts, trousers like this, and they’re comfortable and easy. Today I decided to give my standard shirt-and-trousers look a lil boost with this amazing and wonderful faux fur collar. I’ve been obsessed with faux fur this winter and am going to wear my coats and collars til it becomes physically impossible to do so. Speaking of things I’m flogging until they are certifiably untenable, every time I go to wear these sneakers I think ‘this really can’t go on much longer, they’re falling apart’ and yet I own no shoe more comfortable, and no shoe that goes better with everything I wear. So the Blazers stay.

I’m trying to give my Velvet Cherry lipstick a rest and am trying to bring other lipsticks back into rotation this week so I don’t neglect them in favour of Tom Ford’s perfection. Today it’s Revlon Colorburst in Elusive.
