Further to my previous post, I really feel like I’m doing an OK job of… togetherness. Making an effort with my outfits, not defaulting to jogging bottoms and a t shirt for work (as I have been known to do on many occasions). When I went to Marrakech two weeks ago, I tried on my friend Charlotte’s pleated midi dress from Topshop as it looked pretty stretchy. Obviously, I am very much not able to shop in Topshop in general, but as with stores like Monki, there’s the odd item that works if you’re bigger. This midi dress is perfect for chic summer dressing as it’s light as a feather but not too casual.

I’m a big fan of NYX makeup and am delighted it’s being rolled out in more and more Boots stores. This lipstick is NYX Lip Lingerie in Embellishment, and I just love the colour. All the Lip Lingeries are in perfect neutral shades, but I adore the cold lilac-grey of Embellishment. My pom pom earrings are Topshop sale, and perfect for an understated frivolous look.
