As someone who hardly ever wears skirts, wearing two in one week is quite something. I hadn’t tried anything from the New Look Curves range but this skirt struck me as both cute and useful, so I went for it. I asked Twitter what the sizing on the range is like, and got a variety of opinions. I actually opted to size down in this skirt because I find that skirts, because I wear them on my waist and my waist is my smallest part, always come up big and look bad when I tuck my top in if I buy them in my usual size. I’m really glad I did, I think it looks just right.

On my lips is Stila liquid lipstick in Bellissima. I don’t think it’s as perfect as Patina, my favourite Stila shade, but it’s a great liquid lipstick formula.
