I’m trying to figure out what my style is at the moment. As much as I love trousers and tops, I’m trying to err away from the messier side of that (like when I wear sweatpants and a jumper and no makeup) because it just doesn’t make me feel good. Right now, I’m testing my comfort in things that are more ladylike, more fun, more feminine, more effortsome, and seeing how I feel in them. I ordered this dress in a big ASOS order, and it was one of only 2 items I kept. I just love it. On its first outing alone, it drew compliments from friends and strangers alike, and I felt wonderful in it. The accompanying jacket didn’t hurt, though. As soon as I saw this incredible faux fur jacket on navabi, I knew I had to have it. It’s the most realistic faux fur I’ve ever seen, it’s a beautiful colour, it keeps me warm, and the way it’s constructed in strips rather than as just one mass of material makes it look even more chic and authentic.

I finally bought a lipstick I’ve been coveting for a long time, and wore it for the first time on Saturday. Nars Cruella is just wonderful: I love the formula of the velvet matte lip pencils from Nars, and this shade is a beautiful autumnal berry-red.
