Autumn is officially here! The sky is grey, the temperature has cooled and many of my pals are getting excited at the thought of cosy, dark clothes in heavy fabrics. I received some money for my birthday and wasn’t sure what to spend it on. When I saw this magnificent dress on ASOS, I decided this was the item for me, and it feels like an excellent autumnal investment. It’s easy to wear, comfortable, has POCKETS, isn’t ridiculously short, actually embroidered rather than printed, made of thick cotton… I could go on. I just love it. I got so many compliments on it from strangers when I wore it out and about yesterday, and I liked it so much I’m wearing it again today. I expect it’ll be something of a regular for me this A/W.
I wore it with my deep plum tights from Tabio and my beloved tan brogues, with some Growl lipstick from Illamasqua. Lovely.
