I wondered if this outfit was Too Much but then realised if I saw it on someone in the street I would be intensely jealous of their cool idea, so went for it. My renewed commitment to really thinking about my clothes and making more of an effort will inevitably involve some more interesting outfits, and I feel like this is going to be a regular. I’m obsessed with pink, and these dusky shades are pink to perfection. Word of warning: this top only has one button and it’s right on the waist. I’ve definitely exposed my bra while wearing it so if you’re into the shirt but want to preserve some mystery, definitely safety pin the collar together where it meets. The trousers are so perfect and it’s such a joy to be wearing trousers long enough. It’s made me wonder if I might need the accompanying suit jacket…

Lipstick is LA Splash liquid lipstick in Latte Confession. I’m really happy I ordered this off BeautyBay as I hadn’t tried any of their stuff before and the formula is so comfortable and non-drying but still really opaque. Highly recommend.
