Lacy Days.

I got this excellent black wet-look lace dress in the River Island sale for a tenner earlier in the summer, and it got its first outing at Lovebox a couple of weekends ago. It’s quite easy to wear and feels quite glamourous. I didn’t want it to look like I was going to a funeral so I’m wearing it with my lovely powder-pink loafers.
Today is my last day at the fashion magazine and next week I’m at a weekend supplement to a national broadsheet, so I doubt I’ll be feeling the pressure so much to dress extravagantly!
Dress: River Island
Tights: Marks & Spencer
Loafers: Evans
Necklace: H&M
I get loads of compliments on this aeons-old necklace, even though it cost under a fiver from H&M. Nice. And you can get an idea of the ‘wet-look’ material.
Oh and when I came in from taking my photos, I found this in the kitchen. Someone had put it in a goodie bag at an event my dad went to last night. He was perplexed, I was thrilled. Consider it stolen.
